Ph.D. comics

I've been greatly enjoying this comic, ever since it was pointed out to me by an old friend of mine who is now working on her Ph.D. in Texas.  It appears I have a normal relationship with my advisor, as the only thing off that list I knew is that Jaegwon Kim went to Dartmouth for undergrad.  On the other hand, I knew far more than I was supposed to about my advisor at UCSB before I defected; I know his middle name as well as where he did undergrad.  Francis Watanabe Dauer also went to Dartmouth for undergrad (in fact, that's why I know Kim did; when I told him I'd gotten in to Brown, Francis joked about how I was leaving one Asian Dartmouth grad for another).
